Nobel Peace prize...Im confused

Im confused how can Obama win the Nobel Peace prize...for what. But then again I didn't quite get why Jimmy Carter or Al Gore won either. Can anyone please tell me what Obama has done what he has accomplished, he's a failed president so far. He can shoot a few loops
